Mission Statement

Century School's Mission is to provide all students with a positive and challenging learning experience which will empower them to become responsible and productive citizens of the world.

Belief Statements

  1. All students can learn.
  2. Student learning is the chief priority at Century School.
  3. Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.
  4. A safe and physically comfortable environment promotes student learning.
  5. Teachers, administrators, parents, and community share the responsibility for advancing the schools mission.

School Wide Rules of Conduct

  1. I will follow directions the first time given. (fairness)
  2. I will keep my hands, feet, mouth and objects to myself. (responsibility)
  3. I will put people UP, not down. (caring)
  4. I will always walk quietly in the building. (respect)
  5. I will always be in the proper place at the proper time. (citizenship)

Schedule 2015-2016

8:05 - First Bell
8:10 - School Begins
9:40-9:50 - Morning Break
11:20 -12:00 First Lunch-4th, 5th and All day Kindergarten
11:50 -12:30 Second Lunch-1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grades
1:25-1:35 - Afternoon Break
2:30 - School Ends

Wednesday, same schedule as above, except no afternoon break and students are released at 1:30 PM.

Kindergarten Schedule:

8:10 AM - 10:50 AM (Morning)
11:50 AM - 2:30 PM (Afternoon)
8:10 - 2:30 (All-Day Kindergarten)

Kindergarten Wednesday:

8:10 AM - 10:20 AM (Morning)
8:10 AM - 10:20 AM (All Day)
11:20 AM - 1:30 PM (Afternoon)

All day Kindergarten Lunch:
11:20 AM - 11:50 AM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
