It's Book Fair time again! The November Book Fair Raffle was a huge success! We were able to donate $250 worth of books to students through the raffle. We are going to do it again. In order to be entered into the raffle, students will have to attend their PTC and get a ticket from their teacher and bring it to the library.

***We will be doing an evening of Fingerprinting at the District Office for parents who cannot make it during regular office hours. This will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23rd from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Please call Celeste Weaver at 435-734-4800 ext 1565 to make the appointment. There are only 12 slots available once these are full we will not accept any other people during that time. Please do not go without an appointment.***

At Century Elementary, we love our volunteers!

Here is some info to help you understand the need for background checks.
Who needs to be fingerprinted?
- Any parent or guardian who volunteers on a regular, scheduled basis at school.
-Any parent or guardian who would like to ride the bus on a field trip or attend a field trip where parents are asked to chaperone, or supervise a small group of students, on a field trip or school activity out of view of school staff.
- Current employees of BESD or ESS should already have a cleared background check. They will not need to have them re-done for this purpose.

When?
By appointment only at the District Office located at 960 S Main St., Brigham City, UT. This should be done ASAP, as the background checks sometimes take up to 3 weeks to process and clear. There is no cost as we are covering that for the time being.

Please call Celeste Weaver at the District Office at 435-734-4800 ext 1565 to set up an appointment.
